If you too suffer from eruptions of uncontrollable rage, I put if before you that you owe it to yourself to get some sort of Anger Management Treatment. The reasons for this are many, and you may have already experienced some of them, but in case you haven't, here is a short list of ways in which excessive anger affects your life for the worse:

1. Your health - excessive anger has a detrimental effect on your health and may cause severe illnesses which include: an increased risk of heart conditions, high blood pressure, cancer, stroke, stomach ulcers, palpitations, and more. This isn't something which you should take lightly.

2. Your career - People don't like to work or do business with someone who cannot control his or her temper. That's why anger management treatment is important to reduce the risk of losing your job, alienating clients or colleagues, and maintaining your business reputation.

3. Your family life - Uncontrollable rage is one of the common reasons why couples drift apart and divorce. Let's face it, it's not easy to live with someone who erupts in anger over the smallest things. It's frightening, uncomfortable, and unpleasant. Improving your anger management skills is important to maintain an harmonious family life.

4. Your social life - Friends may no longer wish to remain so if they witness any of your tantrums. Anger can even be perceived as scary, something to be avoided. Even long lasting friends may disappear from your life if you don't find some way to learn to control your anger.

I don't mean to scare you, just to inform you of the probable consequences of this condition and to show you how much better life can be once you seek and find an anger management treatment which will work for you.
